Employer Services Registration Form

Get your employees ready to GO by BIKE! Take advantage of these FREE employer bike services offered by iCommute.

Registration for bike services is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please select the employer bike services that your organization is interested in (rank by order of preference, with 1 being the highest):

Bike Maintenance Safety Check- This one-hour event is ideal for getting employees ready for Bike to Work Day. A local bike shop, like Cycle Quest, Velofix, or Revolution Bike Shop, or an instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists, will offer a quick bike check for safe riding. The check will include minor brake and gear adjustments, the chain checked and lubed, tires checked and inflated, all nuts and bolts checked for proper tightness, and necessary seat height adjustments. This event is held at your business location, and can be combined with a class or ride.
Bike Class- This 45-minute presentation is intended for employees to attend during the lunch hour. The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition will give a bike safety and bike commuting presentation that provides safety tips, information on the law, and a question and answer portion for curious new commuters. Seasoned commuters also are encouraged to share their perspectives and helpful tips with their co-workers.
BLT Rides* (Bike and Learn Together)- Choose from a beginner ride or a commuter ride! These fun courses can be customized to fit your employees' needs. The beginner ride, typically 8-10 miles on mostly flat bike paths and lightly traveled roads, allows participants to travel at a pace that encourages talking and interaction, helping them to become comfortable on bikes. The commuter ride, typically on a weekday before work, offers participants an opportunity to ride with an instructor safely to their place of employment. The ride will begin at a mutually agreed upon location no more than a ten miles from the employer, and will highlight bike facilities in the neighborhood, useful urban riding techniques, and skills for route planning. Topics such as lights, helmets, and bags also will be covered.
*Only iCommute Diamond Award recipients are eligible.

After your organization registers, you will receive a confirmation email with more details. A representative will follow up with you within three business days to schedule a date and time for your selected employer bike services.
